Wicked Elf Pilsner

ABV = 5.0%

The Little Brewing Company’s version of the original golden coloured lager (Bohemian Pilsner) brewed in 1842 in Pilsen, Bohemia (Czech Republic), using the local European hops and malts.

Overall, this is a crisp, complex, well-rounded, refreshing pilsner.

Colour and appearance:
A pale golden pilsner with a creamy white head.  

Aroma:
Complex and malty, with a spicy/floral hop aroma from the imported Czech Saaz hops.

Flavour:
Dominated by maltiness with a pronounced rounded bitterness and flavour from fresh Saaz hops. Aftertaste is a balance of malt and hops with a medium body and a lingering bitter finish.

Suggested food match:
Treat like a white wine and match with white meats, but is excellent with seafood, especially natural oysters, and goes perfectly well with Asian style cuisine (hot and spicy or not).
