Wicked Elf Pale Ale

ABV = 5.4%

This is The Little Brewing Company’s version of an American Pale Ale using imported American ale yeast, American hops, and Australian and British malts. Hops and malt flavour are plentiful in this ale, which is ‘bigger’ than most.

Overall, this is a hoppy, flavoursome and refreshing pale ale.

Colour and appearance:
Rich copper/gold in colour with good clarity and a creamy beige head.

Aroma:
Fresh floral/citrus aromas, from Oregon grown Cascade hops, balanced with a judicious use of Crystal malts.

Flavour:
A seductive combination of citrus hop flavour with a generous malty character balanced towards hop flavour and bitterness as the style dictates.

Suggested food match:
Excellent with red meats and full flavoured game meats, such as duck, and also great with Indian curries and hotly spiced foods.

"One of the early releases from this brewery and still a great beer. Strong American citric hop aromas climb forward over the copper amber coloured beer beneath. There is plenty of bitterness in the mouth that balances back a reasonably large body for a pale ale. Not a shy pale by any means and it has lots of everything going on in the glass."
