THE HASTINGS ' OWN BREWERY SET TO LAUNCH
The Hastings ' own brewery, The Little Brewing Company (TLBC), will hold its official launch on Tuesday, 22 May, starting at 5.30pm.
The brewery will be officially opened by Robert Oakeshott MP, Member for Port Macquarie.
Approximately 150 guests from the Hastings region and further away are expected to attend the launch which will be held at the brewery's premises at Unit 1, 58 Uralla Road , Port Macquarie.
“The launch is a celebration of a lot of hard work over a long period of time,” said Kylie Little who together with husband and brewer, Warwick, and four other Hastings' locals, own the brewery.
“Warwick and I first entertained the thought that we'd have our own brewery about six years ago and it has been a work in progress ever since. We arrived in Port Macquarie in March last year and we are now ready to offer our beer to the market.
“It's no secret that we've put everything on the line to follow a passion – we simply love beer and we hope to offer locals, as well as the many tourists who visit this wonderful region, premium quality craft brewed beer.
“The launch is also a celebration of the efforts of the people who have contributed to the establishment of the brewery and, in particular, the many local people who have assisted us,” Kylie said.
Those attending the launch will taste the first two beers to be released onto the market – Wicked Elf Pilsner and Wicked Elf Pale Ale – to be accompanied by a selection of hot and cold canapés selected to match the beer by Silverspoon Catering & Events.
The Little Brewing Company is a small batch craft brewery that produces premium quality ales and pilsners using the freshest, finest quality all natural ingredients available, and without additives or preservatives. The beers are not pasteurised so they retain their flavour.
