Wicked Elf Pale Ale has been listed as one of the top five beers produced in NSW/ACT by Australia's premier beer writer and critic, Willie Simpson, in his new book, The Australian Beer Companion.

The book is unrivalled as the only comprehensive directory of Australian breweries on the market, documenting the stories of more than 100 of the author’s favourite Australian breweries.

The Little Brewing Company's story is told over two pages with numerous references to its home base, Port Macquarie, including the propensity of locals, who regularly drink the beer on tap at the Port Macquarie Golf Club, to call the beer 'pixie juice'.
